I'M OVERWEIGHT!!!!!!!

Kathy, HUGE congratulations!! I thought I was the only one that still felt that pit in my stomach from seeing the O word on my medical chart. I'll never forget it, but just like I'll never forget the first time I saw overweight on the BMI calculator here too. I am now "normal". I'm not really, but weight wise I am!! For how crazy your life has been these past few months, you have really stuck to your goals. Be proud of that! I am! love Cheryl

I'm so very happy for you. These messages on this webb sight have been such a big help for me. I started visiting this sight sept 2003 at the time i had just gone to my info meeting with Dr. Aranow. Its hard to believe that less than a year later I've gone thru the agony of having all the tests, the feeling like I'd never lose that 10 pounds before surgery, the long wait til insurance aproval then finally getting that surgery date! OOO the excitement of it all! Now 73 pounds lighter since my surgery on march 30, 2004 and have made it to being ONLY obese! I too had the horror of seeing that Morbidly Obese lable on my doctors chart. I can't wait til I'm merely over weight and can only imagne the thrill of being "normal".
