Kathy I am a couple days before you and I too cannot tolerate eggs.  Everything else has been fine but they hurt.

Sounds like you may have eaten too much, however, eggs while they seem safe they don't go over well with many post ops early out.  I loved eggs pre-op but after the surgery they totally made me sick.   I was heartbroken after surgery and thought I would never be able to eat eggs again but now I eat them all the time with no troubles.   Burbing is totally a sign of fullness as well as slight pain in your pouch area.... If you are feeling either of these stop eating.   I feel that you really have to "listen" to your body early out and portion size can be pretty irrelevant.  There were plenty of times that I felt like I was starving and we'd go out to eat and 1 or 2 bites would really make me full and other times I could eat much more.   I'd be looking at my plate thinking how the heck can I be full but really what it is more of a mourning for the eating process.  Eating has always been a comforting social thing and now it's more what it should be....fuel.  Oh, and as for the freezing thing....I'm over 2 years post op and still freezing my @ off !   I pray for scorching summers so that I can actually swim again!!
