Reminder Yale Support Group Meeting This Tuesday 8/3

All: Just a quick reminder about the support group meeting this coming week. The meeting is awesome. There is a great mix between pre & post op people. I think Linda even has something planned for this meeting!!! So the meeting is this Tuesday at 6PM at Yale Hospital in the Max Taffel room (behind the cafe). If you are a regular I will see you there If you have never gone PLEASE come we will take good care of you. Chryssie

Thanks Chryssie for posting the reminder!! I totally forgot to do that today. We are having a speaker or two (not sure) from the Roche Labs on the Healthworks system. Should be interesting. Can't wait to see everyone. It seems like a month is forever sometimes....... Linda

Chryssie and JA, congratulations on becoming big losers!!!! I know you will both do great! Chryssie, I saw on your profile that you might want to join a gym. If you are interested in going to In-Shape, let me know and I can get you a month free pass to try it out. I have been going there since september and I really like it. They have babysitting and my kids seem to really like it. I really look forward to going to these monthly meetings but I am going to miss this one unfortunatly. I am taking tennis lessons on Tues/Thurs nights and they are 2 1/2 hours long so I hate to miss even one. I can use all the help I can get on my game and I really enjoy it. It is one of those things that I always wanted to do pre-op but couldn't. I hope to see most of you at the Sept. meeting and at the dinner. HeatherS

Hi I am not that familiar with the area, does anyone have directions from 91 or the Merrit PKW. I would love to attend.

Melissa, 91 South and stay in right lane; follow signs that say downtown New Haven. Then follow signs to Yale New Haven Hospital. You can part in the garage and when you go into the main entrance ask where the meeting is being held. They will direct you. The hospital address is 20 York Street, New Haven, if you wanted to do a mapquest. JA
