Health Trax
I was gonna join HealthTrax but Planet Fitness is sooooo much cheaper. The only thing PF doesn't have is a pool and the different classes. I know I wouldn't use them, well, I would use the pool but not non-pool classes.
I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.

Hi Rich, ...Health Trax is nice, but not worth the money in my opinion.
I was a member there a few years back and was paying $60 per month.
I''ve been happy with Planet Fitness for the past year (not like I go nearly as often as I should, LOL)...but they have decent equipment and you can chose from the $10 or $20 a month plan.
They are open 24/7 Mon - Thurs and Close at 9pm on Fridays and 7Pm on Sat and Sun.
If having a pool is not a big deal, then give Planet Fitness a try and save your money.
I was a member of health trax and eventually had to quit due to the fact i couldnt afford it anymore. I b and belonged to the one in glastonbury i must say i loveddddddddddddd it. It was the only gym i felt comfortable at. The only gym I had weight loss at. See I love lifting weights and they were the only gym to have the specific type of equipment I like. One of the machines im big on is the leg press and theres was a sitting machine vrs other gyms which you were either on your back cutting off your breathing or on your back placing unnessecary pressure on you shoulders causing pain. so my advice to you is really determine what machines you are there for and if their machines are the best remeber most machines are designed different by different manufacuters which may decide what gym has the best equip. for you
