I think that's what I needed. I went to the spa this a.m. and had a great pedicure, leg massage. My arthritis has been kickin' my butt cuz I'm walking, so I needed it. Amazingly enough, they thought I looked thinner already My new living room furniture came in today, and I'm going to go with my friend to shop for new end tables and lamps. My friend, who is in from California, has an 18 yr old who will be graduating next June. He and her DH are coming into town tomorrow because they are on the eastcoast looking at colleges. Brown today, Yale tomorrow! So they're going to Pepe's for dinner, and I'll stay back and have my Ensure. Lucky me ! What's everyone else up to this weekend? XO JA

Hey JA: What spa did you go to? I love Simply Nail on the Branford Hill. Sounds like a good pampering was in order!!! I plan on doing that sometime next week. No big weekend plans here. I went to the pool with my DH and my son. I put my feet in and just sat on the stairs. Just lots of short walks and naps. I'll be having Ensure this evening also. I find it isn't too bad yet. When do you go back to Dr.B? I see him on 8/12. So by then I will probibly be ready to eat my computer!!! Have a great weekend!!! Chryssie

Hi Chryssie, Good to hearing you're doing well...sounds like me last week. I go back to Dr. Bell this Thurs. I go to By the Sea Inn and Spa every 4 weeks for a pedicure..It's expense, but I love it! And it is sooooo relaxing there! I wanna try your place that sounds good too. We must treat ourselves; we deserve it. I'm ready to eat your computer AND mine no just kidding I am ready to chew though! JA

Hi JA, Well sounds like you are having a fun filled weekend between hitting the spa and furniture shopping etc. Not letting any grass grow under your feet!! That's great. I wouldn't stress about Pepe's. First of all there is a concert on the green tonight so it will be a mob scene in New Haven and second of all as far as I am concerned Pepe's burns their pizza and who wants to stand in line on a very very hot Saturday night to wait for burned grease? now how is that for rationalization!!!! You will look back on these two weeks and it will be a faded memory and you will wonder what you were so stressed out about!! Just a few more days and you can have your first real food. Bet you won't finish your first egg!! Linda

Hi Linda, What a friend you are! I really think Pepe's pizza is greasy and burned too, however, right now, ALPO sounds good . I still have one more day to sweat it out, because they are going on Sunday! I'm hangin' in..trying to focus on everything BUT food. I went out and bought new drapes to go with my new living room furniture today...actually bought two different colors and I'll bring back the ones that don't go Thanks for ALL of your support...I would have gone without it. Sally's Pizza is better IMO! Mmmmm SPA! I go to Spa Nails here in Ansonia. They do a wonderful job, but I know they say mean things about me and I don't understand what they are saying! New furniture? Woo Hoo! We got our new set in March and it was the best $2500 I've ever spent! This weekend has been crazy and the upcoming week is going to be CRAZIER! A bunch of friends and I (about 13 of us) went to Stonebridge in Milford Friday night for dinner. One of my friends that went, had her surgery in March and we shared an appetizer and drank water. We each spent $5! Woo Hoo cheap dates! Then we went to Cancun Charlies for drinks (me with water). Got pics! I didn't get home until 3 Saturday morning. Then I woke husband up and kept him up til five! Saturday I slept til 12ish and then we headed to a BBQ that my husbands department at work was having. We left at 6 so I could fly to Norwalk to The Fox. I was on the air from 7 to midnight and I just got home a little bit ago. Sunday I am hoping to sleep quite a bit, BUT my husband and I are going to see Sarah McLachlan at the Hartford Civic Center. 14th row .. I am a HUUUUUUUUUGE FAN! Then I have to race to Milford to be on the air at Star 99.9 from midnight to 5am. Then off to the gym for 6am and to my OTHER full-time job for 8. Leave there at 4. Go back to Star in Milford for a meeting, then home to sleep from around 7pm-11pm. Lather, Rinse, Repeat.

I agree Sally's is better! You have a crazier schedule than I can ever dream of. I work two jobs too, but my schedule is a lot slower than yours. GOD I admire your energy!!! Where do u get it? We are awaiting the arrival of my friend's DH and son...great rainy day, I'd rather be sleeping! JA
