Bowel Prep??

Hi Everyone, Whats this I hear about a bowel prep?? Is it just a general " cleansing" before surgery?? This girl has questions! Robin

Eeeeeep! I would imagine that is what it is. I haven't had that done but I'll bet you'd be squeaky clean for surgery! Tara

Hi Robin, Not to worry, Dr. Bell doesn't have you do any kind of bowel prep or for that matter any kind of liquid diet etc. before surgery. The only thing is nothing to eat or drink after midnight the day before surgery. Don't know where you heard the bowel prep thing, unless you are having a colonoscopy done!!
