Hello Everyone, Just wanted to let you all know that I am back on line, moved into the new condo and drum roll please............I have joined the CENTURY CLUB As you can tell I don't know what to do first...... or do a happy I have been so busy with all this moving stuff that I haven't had time to eat and I sure have been getting extra exercise in. I feel badly that I haven't made it to the gym but I will get back there on Saturday hopefully. I just want to welcome all the new folks who have joined us on the CT Boards, you can not have picked a better place for info or support or just a place to chat. Mary Lou, Happy Anniversary!!! You are an amazing friend and I thank you for all your support. Congrats to Chyrssie and JA on their successful surgeries. It will get easier as the days pass. Kathy K, don't sweat the cpap, even if you hate it (hmmm.........oh yeah its not me I am talking about), it really does help. Just remember that untreated sleep apnea slows down our metabolism making it harder to lose weight. Kathy F have you moved yet?? Girlfriend I don't ever plan on moving again!!! Elaine, nice to see you posting again, isn't it time for some new pics? Speaking of which, I did get a new camera for the wedding and have a couple of new pics. I must spend some time fooling around with the camera though....... alot of the pics came out too dark and I had to do a lot of touching up. Something to add to my list of things to do. Anyway, here I sit at 8 months out, down 101 pounds, living in a new home, with a very different life style. Who would have thought all these changes could happen so fast or for that matter at all. I never could have done this move a hundred pounds ago. I never went to the gym, I really had to think about where I was going and where I could sit and would I be able to keep up with the group etc. I still have those thoughts sometime but then I remember........Hey I can do this, I can sit in a regular seat, I can cross my legs, I can shop in the regular stores, I can do anything I want to. I thank Dr. Bell and all of you for giving me this great new life. Yes it is very hard work but the rewards are better than any paycheck I have ever gotten or any desert I have ever eaten. (I do have some comments regarding eating out but will save that for another time.) Have a great weekend everyone and keep on truckin......... Linda

Congratulations all around!!!! I'm so anxious for the day when I hit the century club -- I'm 90 lbs. down, but that 10 lbs. is probably going to take a long time. My dr. thinks that's going to be about it for me, but I'd like to lose another 20. Time will tell ........... Are you loving the new place? I can't wait to be moved & unpacked myself. I'm moving this weekend (gonna be living in sin with my b-friend ... though I've given him essentially a 5 month timeframe in which to buy me a ring & put us on the road to marriage ... we've done a little shopping for rings), and I haven't been good about going to the gym at all. I packed until about midnight last night, then started again at 5:30 this morning -- at least my arms are getting a workout! Again congrats! I say you do both and -- you've earned it!! XO Kathy F.

Hi Linda Congrats on becoming a member of the Century Club. I remember when I hit that mark. I also didn't know what to do first. Lord, knows before I had this surgery, my first reaction would have been to go out and celebrate at the all you can eat buffet. Now I celebrate by lifting a tall glass of protein drink. I am happy for you. Keep up the good work. I am 10 months post and I am down 170lbs. You are right about being able to do things, sit in arm chairs, cross you legs and the best is Shopping. That is my newest hobby. Again, REALLY happy for you. Have a good weekend. Luis
