Cookbook for WLS
Hi all,
Does anyone know if their are any cookbooks or menue samples out their that can help us make the right choices after surgery?
I feel very lost and confused about whether I am making the right choices in foods.
Don't want to end up going back to where I was, I am just so scared after failing at so many diets in my life that this will also end up a failure.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks for any help - smile
Beth
Beth:
I have heard people talking about WLS cookbooks but I can not remember the names of the books. I would go to Barnes & Noble.com and do a search. I know Susan Maria's book has a cookbook section in it. Be confident in yourself remember you never had this tool before so you WILL suceed!!!

Hi Beth:
I am with you on this one, so I decided to do some research.
Here is an excellent ONLINE recipe resource: http://www.wlsfriends.com/cgi-bin/cookbook/recipe.cgi
I went to http://bn.com and did a search on "bariatric" and "wls" and only found books about the surgery itself, so I then just did a search on "cookbooks" and this is what I found:
http://browse.barnesandnoble.com/browse/nav.asp?visgrp=nonfiction&pl=1&userid=Rt3LWak98g&bncatid=914300
Amazon has a good one: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1932269010/103-6011530-7755844?vi=sufiandmacrobiot
Hope this helps a bit. I am going to pick up this last book because it really looks good!!
