Is this a "normal" feeling?

Whenever I drink the Insure or Crystal light, it feels like a lump in my chest afterwards. Is that a normal feeling or am I going too fast? JA

Hey JA. Welcome to the losing side. Sounds to me that you might be gulping a little too much, too fast. Try taking smaller sips and drink slower to see if this helps. Maggie

I agree with Maggie. That happens to me if I gulp or sip too fast. It's silly because sometimes I am like "but it WAS a little sip". My pouch tells me otherwise. From what I understand, this feeling subsides. A month out, it still happens to me and I welcome the time that STOPS! Go slow and welcome home! Oh by the way, how do you like the Insure? I am going to try the Tropical Fruit since the Blue Raspberry is nasty as h*ll! Tara

Thanks guys...I guess I have BIG mouth! I swttched from Ensure to Carnation diet instant breakfast and that seems to feel better, not as thick with skim milk. Man o man, this is a tough road...but I'm pluggin' along! Thanks again ... I knew I would get my answer here! JA

JA Welcome home!! It sounds, as the other ladies said, like you're probably drinking a little too fast. It's hard to adjust to the sloooooooow pace you need at first with drinking. However, it does change with time & you'll be able to pick up the pace soon enough. Kathy F.
