Good question. I know I am not dehydrated because I've been drinking more water than I ever have in my life, but my legs get sore too, it feels like growing pains. I wonder if it's a potassium problem with me too.

Isabella... Congrats on recognizing your need to improve your drinking habits. It's a battle for me every day, so I know how you feel. Being dehydrated or slightly dehydrated will make you feel all sorts of bad. But, I've never heard of muscle soreness as a symptom. Glad you're going to call your Dr about it. Some hints for the future: Warm liquids tend to go dowm easier for many post ops. Consider adding herbal teas, SF hot cocoa, decafe coffee, etc to your daily routing if you haven't already. Popsicles are a good way to supplement your liquid intake, as are ice chips. Good luck to you! Let us know how you're doing. Best, Lisa C
