Tammy- you're doing great. I know how hard the never ending dr's appts can be - with my last two pregnancies, I was diabetic and had to travel to Farmington (UCONN) the first time and Hartford (Hart. Hosp) the second time - seemed like towards the end, I was there all five days a week between dr's appt, nutrition appts and non stress tests.....but it's soooo worth it in the end, right? How do you feel?

Thanks Jen - it is kind of annoying with all the appointments - but I know that I have to do what is best for the baby - they are extremely cautious - Next week I have to go to the Diabetes center @ Hartford Hospital from 8:30 to 12:00 - then I have a ob appt. on 2/4, 2/11 (for an ultrasound), and 2/18 - usually it's not a weekly thing until the last month! So far they told me I don't have to have non stress tests - but I have a feeling that will probably change.........it is soooo worth it -you are right!
I'm feeling okay most of the time - my legs are going numb when I stand or walk too long - sleeping is difficult - but all in all I think considering my age and weight I'm doing very well!
