I am very happy to proclaim I have not been eating like a pig and so far have only gained 18 pounds in my 27 weeks of pregnancy - considering I gained 60 pounds with my son - I am very proud!

Just thought I'd share and gather a few "atta girls"....I am actually supposed to be working from home and am procrastinating - shame on me!
Warm Regards - Tammy -

Your OB must be proud - that is right around the recommended weight gain.  That means about half the weight will be gone when baby comes.  It won't take you long to lose the rest.  How much did your son weigh? Congratulations, Bev

Thanks Bev - I think with an overweight pregnancy they only like to see you gain like 15 pounds - but that is totally unrealistic as far as I'm concerned! My ob hasn't said anything so I'm assuming they're pleased...My son came 3 weeks early and weighed 7 lbs. 12 ounces (imagine if I carried him to term )!!

I lost like 38 pounds with my son after a month or so, I think nursing really helps with the weight loss after pregnancy. I plan to hit the road with this little girl and start walking with her as soon as I'm able - I'm not sure how long I'll have to wait to get a fill after she's born. To be honest though, I do not miss having fill in my band at all - I really struggled for so long - maybe things will be different this time
Warm Regards - Tammy -

Thank you! I am doing pretty well considering my age - I'm bummed because I failed one of my four blood levels in the 3 hour glucose test - the first reading was supposed to under 180 and I was at 191 - all the other readings were perfectly within range...... so now, although I am not diagnosed as a gestational diabetic they are treating me as one because I am considered glucose intolerant.

This means a lot more office visits........but I gotta do it, what choice do I have?

WE ARE PUT ON THIS EARTH NOT TO SEE THROUGH EACH OTHER...BUT TO SEE EACH OTHER THROUGH

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one
hand,  mudslide in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and
