Pre-op appt. with Dr.Bell & hospital 7/20

Hi all: Tomorrow I have my 1 on 1 appt. with Dr.Bell and then I go to the hospital for my pre-op testing. Wish me luck. I can not believe I have 6 more days. This week will fly by since I am so busy at work in preparation of being out for the next 3 weeks. How long were you guys who had lap out? Have a great night. Chryssie

Hey Chryssie! YAHOOOOOOO! Tomorrow is your day! My appt. w/Dr. Bell was at 10:40 and then 12:45 at Yale. I got home at 4P. Just to let you know the time frame. You are so on your way, and let me tell you those six days will fly by Good luck and as they say in SHOW BIZ, "Break a leg!" JA: Thanks for the info. The visit went well today. Dr.B is great!!! Meet with the anesthesia guy and a nurse. Lynda asked me if I wanted to change my surgery to this Thursday (like in 2 days). I told her I would love to but I am still training my temp. Oh well....I will have my surgery on Monday 7/26 around noon. Best of luck tomorrow!!!! You will be in my thoughts & prayers!!!! Chryssie

YAY! I can imagine how excited you are! As far as time off - I work 2 full time jobs. One I took 2 weeks off, and the other I took 5 weeks off. So RIGHT NOW, I am working only one job, which is the overnight at Star 99.9 .. 3 weeks is okay, but if you can get an extension, get it! Your body needs time to heal.

Tara: Good to know. I plan on taking the full 3 weeks and I will see how I feel. I have a desk job so I should be fine I am just kinda concerned about the stress level. Things will all work out though. I LOVE 99.9 that is so awesome that you work there. I hope you are doing great. Chryssie

It's almost time! Let us know how everything goes. As far as time off of work, I had it done lap and took 2 weeks off work. If you don't have a strenous job (physical), then I think that's plenty of time. I wish I had another week though.. only b/c I was so tired. Good luck! Michelle

Michelle: Thanks for the info. I think 3 weeks should be good. I work on a computer all day. I am under alot of stress though at work. I should be ok I will just have to learn to plan my meals the night before to bring to work so I won't have to worry about that. I hope all is going great for you. Chryssie
