OT: Florist in W. Connecticut?

Happy Day of Rest, my CT AMOS friends! Sorry for the off-topic post, but I need your help. My mother-in-law lives in western Connecticut (Sharon, to be exact). She'll be 88 this week, which is definitely worth celebrating, but she's recently developed a painful leg condition, which makes it difficult for her to walk. Soooo, I want to send her flowers that will mark her birthday and cheer her up. Problem is, I don't know a reputable florist in the western CT area, and because of past experiences, I don't always trust that the flowers you order online are the flowers received. I'm sure you can relate. Bottom line: Any of you western CT residents know a good florist in that area, from whom I can order flowers? If so, please send me their name and contact information. I will appreciate it so very much, and I suspect my MIL will, as well. Here's to all of us living as long and healthfully as she has! Melody

Melody: I live on the shoreline so I can not help you with a florist but I can tell you I always use 1-800-flowers on line and they are awesome. I have never had a problem with them. Have a sparkling day. Chryssie

Melody: Go to http://switchboard.com and do a search on Florists in and around Sharon. You can go to http://google.com for a CT Map and see the surrounding towns. You are a VERY sweet daughter-in-law!

Great idea, Tara! I'll try that link. Thank you for the suggestion. Thanks, also, for the compliment, but...I think it's my MIL that deserves the accolades. Imagine, being that age and still active, healthy, and positive about life!
