WELL . . . I LEARNED A LOT TODAY - I AM 3 WEEKS POST OP - I HOPE IT WILL HELP ANYONE IN THE SAME SITUATION. I WAS FEELING SOOOOO TIRED ALL THE TIME, NEVER MIND BEING SICK TO MY STOMACH ALL THE TIME. I WASN'T DRINKING WATER BECAUSE IT HURT WHEN I DRANK IT AND I WAS WORKING OUT AT THE GYM EVERY DAY. SO, I CALLED THE DR. TODAY AND TOLD THEM ALL THIS.
FIRST THING THEY TOLD ME IS THAT THIS EARLY IN THE GAME GOING TO THE GYM MIGHT NOT BE A GOOD IDEA BECAUSE I AM PROBABLY BURNING MORE CALORIES THAN I AM TAKING IN - WHICH IN TURN WILL PUT YOUR BODY INTO SURVIVAL MODE - WHICH IS PROBABLY WHY I AM SO TIRED ALL THE TIME - YOU HAVE TO EXPECT TO BE TIRED BUT I GUESS NOT TO THE EXTREME I WAS.
SECOND THING THEY TOLD ME NOT TO DRINK THE WATER COLD OR EVEN JUST PLAIN WATER - MIXED WITH CRYSTAL LIGHT EVEN MADE A DIFFERENCE - THEY TOLD ME TO DRINK DECAF OR HERBAL DECAF TEA - BECAUSE IT IS WARM
LASTLY, SINCE MY BODY IS IN SUCH SEVERE KEOTSIS (?SPELLING) - THAT IS WHY I FEEL SO SICK TO MY STOMACH ALL THE TIME - THIS SHOULD END IN ABOUT A WEEK.
TODAY, I TRIED ALL THOSE THINGS AND IT REALLY DID WORK - I DIDN'T GO TO THE GYM - I DRANK THE TEA, ETC. I AM NOT 100% BUT I DEFINITELY FEEL BETTER
JUST THOUGHT THIS MIGHT HELP SOMEBODY ELSE.
Isabella: I type this as I sit here with my dinner from 5 hours ago sitting in my stomach stiff. What a freaking nightmare this is!
I am a big fan of Crystal Light and just started drinking decaf tea with Splenda and skim milk for something different.
I guess it's good for a couple of days, and then a bad day .. and the bad day makes me never want to see solid food again!
