HELP! S.O.S.

Lynda from Dr. Bell's called me today to say that my echo cardiogram showed an abnormality, and that I now need clearance from a cardiologist. The abnormality is a heart murmur that I have had for 40 yrs due to rheumatic fever as a child. It has not changed any. So I called my PCP hoping she could help and explained that I had an appt. with Dr. Bell tomorrow, and they never called me back I could just because one of the messages that Lynda left said that if I couldn't get cardiac clearance, I couldn't have my surgery next Wednesday I don't know what to do besides cry ! I'm telling you I can just that woman in my PCP's office for not listening and having my doctor call me back. I am so Thanks for letting me vent! JA

I'm so sorry that this has happened. I know that tomorrow you'll get the phone call that you need and the clearance too. just remember that tomorrow is another day. good luck and god bless, pam

Oh no! Well, get an appointment with a cardiologist STAT! Don't wait for the PCP to call, just make the appointment and get this taken care of straight away. Oh honey, I can imagine you are a wreck. I wish I could hug you.

Tara, I have one on the 19th. I made it a month ago, just in case, but the Dr.'s office is saying that's too close to my surgery date! So I'm getting up early tomorrow and driving to my PCP's office, like the old folk do and gettin' my letter! Hugs to you too ! JA

like the old folks do .. that made me LOL You will be just fine. Another test of your patience, is all this is. Crossin my fingers, toes, and eyes for you honey!

Old folks know the "method", the always get what they want, don't they? I'm learning! Thanks for the encouragement!
