I'm Home!!!
I got home late last night but the point is I am home. I am almost done with my shake, then it's 10 minutes of walking then nap time after that. My doc came around as the were doing a weigh on me and he said don't even weigh for about 30 days. Just feel and watch the weight come off. I had a few moments when I was ready to give up. Like when the 4th person couldn't find a place to put in my IV line and we had to discuss a central line (Big fear of mine). Finally the 6th person (my surgeon) was able to get one in after I was out. Pain was tolerable once I got off the morphine. I never hit the pump enough to get enough of the drug in my system. That's about it. Later all. Oh yeah, I will post a pic that the DH took the day after of me crashed in the chair. What a sweetheart?
I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.

GREAT NEWS!!! It can be a tough start, but it really DOES get EASIER! As you adjust to the post surgical process, remember why you did it in the first place and that you have the support of those who went before you. Utilize the support group as much as possible and let them help you through it.
Take care and best wishes!
