Debby, I was so excited when I saw your post for two reasons: First, I recognize you from the support group meetings! I'm only a few months post op, so I don't know many people and it felt really good to see a familiar face from the support group meetings pop up on the message board! Second, I have really wanted to attend a WLS related event. I'm not much of a "joiner" by nature, but I really enjoy the support group meetings and was hoping to have the opportunity to spend some time with other WLS people. That said, I definitely want to go to the gala. I am a tentative "YES" only because I need to arrange for a sitter for that night. So, put me down as a very likely attendee! (I assume it will be me attending alone, since I am single and can't think of anyone I'd like to bring at this point.) And thank you so much for doing the work it takes to pull one of these things together! Laurie

Laurie, how are you doing? Haven't heard much from you since we had surgery. I'm doing pretty good. I have a Dr. appointment next Wed. to see how my bloodwork is. Email me and let me know how you are doing!!!
