Well - I didn't cook yet today (again). I was going to have a protein shake for breakfast, but wasn't hungry (the decaf, sugar-free, fat-free Dunkin Donuts Latte filled me up), so I skipped. Had a great lunch with Lisa C. We split a steak salad - it had roasted veggies in it, fresh sliced blue cheese, and nice lean & tender steak with a great balsamic vinagrette. It was great -- plus the company was wonderful! Let us know what great thing you had to eat today! God Bless, Kathy Bilodeau

You have good lunches miss!!! I ran out to Wendy's & picked up a chili for lunch. I'll have one of my protein drinks late afternoon, and I'm headed out to dinner with a friend tonight, so hopefully they'll have some good stuff that I can eat. I've decided to try to be a bit more dedicated in the coming couple of months. My family reunion is August 22nd, and no one's seen me since February, so I want to look good. Besides, it can't hurt to cut down on the occasional treat & work out a little more. I swear though, my clothes get bigger but my lbs. are not going down. I must be becoming mighty muscular inside this sagging skin! Take care! Kathy F.

Hi Kathy, This is a really cool thing you started up and I can't wait to be post-op so I can participate. I have to admit I have been totally off the wagon the past week or so and I keep saying tomorrow I will start fresh and then tomorrow comes and goes. So what I really need is a swift kick in the butt. I don't know what I'm thinking. Anyway..... Thanks for being such an inspiration and I hope I am as successful as you are with my WLS. ~Julie~

Hi Kathy, I was o-so today...for lunch I went to Boston Market, got the 1/4 dark chicken with 2 sides...mac & cheese and cinnamon apples. Not the best choices and I'm paying for it right now. Plus I ate the skin...I know, Bad Deb! My poor tummy is all bubbly. It's ok to feel gross at home, but it's so different at work. Ugh. The cinamon apples need to be renamed Sugar Apples. I'm going to try and walk it off. Today's lesson - do not eat the skin, no matter how good it tastes. -Deb

HI everyone! Just wanted to add my yummy pick of the day to the list.. I had the baked scrod at the Texas Roadhouse, baked sweet potato & very little of the seasoned rice.. SO GOOD. I love fish even more now.. it goes down so easily. Might be crazy.. but I really want to waitress there once I'm down 100 lbs. Just b/c it's something I can't do now and it looks so fun there. (Being a native Texan, it brings a little bit of home here too).

HI, For Breakfast I had a cup of cottage cheese, two kinds, one part regular cottage cheese, one part strawberry cottage cheese and I added a few fresh strawberries to boot. I had some turkey meatballs with a little sauce and grated cheese for lunch. For dinner I had a nice piece of steak and some green beans and a little macaroni salad with tuna in it, it was so good. I also had cheese and mixed nuts as a snack and a protein bar too. Darlene

Sometimes I wonder about myself I went to post for today (Friday) and realized I called yesterday's post Friday instead of Thursday! Oh well, we can add today's food to yesterday's post! So far today, Friday, I've had 1 cup of cottage cheese with pineapple. I have no idea what else is on the menu yet, but I'll update later with the scoop! I love to see what everyone is eating - it does help to get a new - so keep the posts coming! Have a wonderful weekend, God Bless, Kathy Bilodeau
