Total Protein

Good morning everyone! Hope you all had a great 4th of July! For me it was strange not enjoying a few margaritas or sangria but thats ok, I got to wear an Old Navy 4th of July t-shirt for the first time! I went grocery shopping last night and bought the new Total Protein cereal. Serving size is 3/4 cup and there's 13 grams of protein! I didn't notice how many carbs, but I dont restrict my carbs during the day, but I wont eat any after dinner. It actually tasted pretty good, sweeter than I thought it would be. That's my review for the day. Umm ummm good. -Deb

Deb! Congrats on getting into that Tee! I agree withyour reviewof Total Protein. It's really pretty good, for a protein cereal. Compared to the Atkins cereals (which I found to taste roughly like cardboard soaked in milk) Total Protein is heaven! Stick a piece of banana in it and I think I'm having the best treat ever. Hi Deb! Where did you find the Total Protein cereal? It sounds like a great idea. I went to a 4th party with the b-friend, and it was essentially a bunch of his guy friends hanging out drinking beer & acting goofy. I had 1 glass of wine & a few sips of a punch (yummmmmmm) and I was buzzed! That was it for me though; I don't see the sense in wasting my calories, but it's weird when you're around a bunch of people who are hoisting a few. I did have on my size 12 bathing suit & shorts (yikes!!), so that gives me great consolation. Have a great week! XO Kathy

Hi Kathy! Size 12?? You Go Girl!! Who is cooler than you? That must have felt great! I can't wait to squeeze into that size...I'm still a 18 but they're getting bigger! Sure is a far cry from the ole 32's!! I bought the Total protein right at Stop & Shop. 13 gms of protein, 11 gms of carbs and it's good!
