Tomorrow is my day....
Tomorrow is my surgery and I think it is just beginning to really hit me. It is 9:30 and I am still in my pj's just trying to relax and get things accomplished calmly. I packed a preliminary bag. I'm sure that I will take many thins out of it before tomorrow. The weather of course appears as if it will not cooperate, but I will be there. I am scheduled for 7:30am so I am assuming I will be back to my room by 4:00pm if any one has any last minute positive advice I would love to hear it. I just last nite gave my family clearance to tell people about the surgery. I just had no intentions of having to justify my decision to others or listen to horror stories. As anyone who had ever been pregnant knows, when people find out you are expecting they tell you the most Godawful stories about the friend of a friend of a friend who had the worst pregnancy and or delivery in the history of man.
Good Luck Violet. I know what you mean about it hitting you. I was getting into the shower today and had to call down to the hubby to give me the soap I have to use. That was a wake-up call that surgery is coming soon. Imma pack my bag tomorrow and make a list of people for the hubby to call/text to let them know I am ok. The hubby said he's gonna tell people "Dammit, she's still alive." That's his twisted sense of humor for ya. I guess this is the last we will "see" of you until you get home. See you when I get home.
I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.
