7/6 Support group at Yale

Just a reminder that there is a support group meeting tomorrow at Yale hospital. It starts at 6PM. I hope to see everyone there. --Hey JA-- our last meeting PRE-OP!!! Can you believe it??? See you all tomorrow. Any for anyone who has never been to a meeting please come!!! The people are great and you get tons of good info. I went to my 1st meeting alone & did not know anyone and I have gone every month since. If you have questions about the meetings please feel free to e-mail me. You will be glad you went. Chryssie, I am so glad you posted this, cuz dummy me, I would have forgotten that tomorrow was Tues, cuz of today's holiday I cannot believe this is our last meeting before surgery! We will need to really get pumped!!! Can I still borrow some books? Thanks, and see you there. JA PS Chryssie is soooo right..these meetings are awesome..plus Dr. Bell is there to answer any questions as well. He is the most spectacular doctor I have every encountered in a lifetime!!!! So all you preops or anyone who is evening thinking 'bout surgery...make sure you come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JA: I will bring the 3 books I have. I just ordered a new one last week but it has not come yet. It is by Dr. Terry Simpson. (he has chat sessions on this site) I am dying to read it as he is very funny. I also have both of Carney Wilson's books but I have to find them. I really like her. So are you packed yet? I will be soon. I have to go buy some Glucerna. I have my vits. (share with my 4 year old), a food scale, blender, 3 oz dixie cups, small tupperware containers, pill crusher, 32 oz. water bottles,etc... I have to get a little fan to bring to the hospital. I HAVE to sleep with my fan on. Oh and chapstic. This is so exciting. What r u bringing to the hospital? Chryssie
