Joanie - UPDATE

Okay gang, I got another update on Joanie that I wanted to share. --------------------- "Yesterday was not a good day for her...the liquids she is taking give her pain when they go down. They're also weaning her off her pain meds so I think that has to be hard as well. And she had a rough nite not sleeping well. Hopefully tomorrow will give her some greater relief .Some of the pain meds have given her nausea so the doc is working with trying a different one. They talked about keeping her an additional day if enough liquids aren't getting in her system" ---------------------- That's all for now. Keep her in your prayers, Tara

Tara, Please send Joanie a great big hug from me, and tell her to hang in! I'm sure it feels awful, but we know from everyone else's experience, it will be worth all the pain and discomfort down the road. I'll keep her in my prayers. JA

Thenkheww JA! She had open surgery, so it's gonna take her a bit longer to heal and feel better. Can't want til she comes home to post! T

Tara, Again, I too haven't posted with Joanie before, but please extend my positive thoughts to her. Those first few days are rough, but tell her comfort and rest are just around the corner. I'm keeping her in my prayers! Dee

Tara -- Tell her we're all thinking of her & wishing her well. Open surgery is very tough. I know when I had to have my surgery for complications they did it open, and it was miserable in the beginning. It's better for them to keep her an additional day & be safe than rush her out. I know it stinks to be in the hospital, but it's the best place to be if you're feeling a little shaky. Both of you take care! Kathy
