Psychiatric Evaluation

Okay...today is the day ..in less than an hour, i have to do this psych thing..and just wanted to say i am nervous...i know ill do fine..filled out that fifty million page packet last nite and omg they ask you some weird questions and the same ones repeatedly.. ...i think im just in one of those moods cause the dh is in less than a good mood this week..he is on day 3 of quitting smoking and doing a good job, but he is also still grumpy about his job so that makes it even worse..i am trying hard to be a good listener and not lose it with him......so i am venting here..sorry guys lol.. hope everyone has a great day !!! ttyl deanna

Deanna, Good luck with the appointment today. I'm sure it will go great. Just give your hubby room, and keep venting here. I don't know if you ever smoked, but I smoked for many years, and quit 3 years ago. Quitting smoking was about the hardest thing I ever did. Try to be patient, he probably feels like crap. Hi Deanna, By the time you read this, your evaluation will be done! It's not really that bad. It might dredge up some old stuff, but it's good to get rid of the old and bring in the new so to speak! The repeating of the questions I felt was that they were trying to rule out if you had any eating disorders. Also they are checking for consistency in your answers. I went to Yale for mine, and I found them to be very nice and very supportive. So, don't worry! Good for your dh for quitting smoking!!! If you need to here for a bit until he can level out, feel free to vent here. Quitting smoking is WONDERFUL! Have a nice day!

Okay......did it....its over with and she said she would be recommending me for the surgery.....(she said they rarely dont recommend anyone LOL) so.................one down, one to go...come on July 9th for the nutritionist im hoping they will all have the paperwork by August 1st and i hear from them by September 1st and hopefullly my xmas present will be the surgery?? thanks for listening all deanna
