Hello All, I just had to share what a wonderful weekend my husband and I had. It has been years since I have felt so alive. Our Newport weekend was everything I could have asked for; beautiful weather, romantic dinners, a sunset on the beach and lots and lots of walking in town and on the cliff walk. I felt fantastic! I physically felt great but I also felt great about who I was and how I looked. I honestly can't remember feeling so confident and happy with who I am. WLS has been a life changing experience and I am thankful everyday. I thank all of you for all the support and encouragement you have given me along the way. My weight loss has been pretty uneventful this month, I am down 108 pounds. I am just feeling so good I don't think I could get discouraged by a plateau at this point. I know I am doing all the right things and eventually things will move again. Have a great week everyone! Carolyn

Hi Carolyn, Happy anniversary. Glad you had such a great weekend! It is amazing how things like a weekend away can help our gratitude level in so many other areas. It was so nice to read your post, very uplifting. Congratulations on the great weight loss too! Anne

Carolyn: Happy Anniversary! I LOVE your attitude. So positive and inspiring. Way to go! I've always wanted to have a romantic getaway with the husband for one of our anniversaries, but it's just never happened. We have a lifetime of that though, I suppose. You are spot on with being okay with a plateau at this point. You've done everything correctly, your body is just catching up for a bit and soon you will start losing again. 108 pounds is SERIOUSLY incredible! Great job!! Tara
