Good Morning Everyone, I feel sooo out of touch with everyone since I have been so busy with getting our house ready to sell. I thought it would be a good idea to have everyone check in I hear there is going to be a get together in July at the beach in New London but I don't know any of the details. Will let you all know if I hear anything. I have been working very hard at purging, packing and cleaning. I was remiss in not going to the gym for a full week but I am back in the swing. I went Thurs, Fri and Sat. Gots to tell you that I am very sore today.... We have an open house today so please keep your fingers and toes crossed that we sell the house quickly. I would greatly appreciate that . I seem to be extra hungry the past week but have been trying to reign in my eating . I changed from Flinstone Completes to Women's One-A-Day and I am wondering if that has something to do with the increased appetite. I am down 95 pounds though at this point........nearing that century mark!!! I hope to reach that by my nieces wedding on July 17th. I have two dresses to choose from and don't tell anyone but I couldn't resist shopping at Filene's sale yesterday. Got a few things which are a tad to small but should fit before summer is over. Nice to shop in the petite section of the store.... Did find it difficult to walk past the women's section though. I have had a very busy week besides all the house related stuff. Went to my youngest nieces high school , where by the way the principal had wls about a year and a half ago and he mentioned that several times during his speeches., Then on Friday night there was a bachelorette party for my oldest niece......hmmm........that was very interesting :rotf: Did speak with one of her friends who had wls two years ago and she is getting ready for PS. Today we are taking my sister out to brunch at Dakota's for her birthday. Can't be in the house during the open house so we decided to take her out during that time. I also took my cat to the Newington Humane Society on Thursday. That is a long story and I have rambled enough here. Take care everyone!! Linda

Ya-hoo! I love these!!! HI LINDA!! 95 pounds! 5 more to the Century Club, you go girl! I take Centrum and don't notice any appetite increase. I remember having a hard time walking past the women's dept too, you get to know the sales people. And they ae nice there too. I made it through my first week back to work. I hit the ground running and never looked up. I could not beleive how busy I was. Then of course when our Dear John left I had to scramble to find out who else was bailing since we have a joint board with Storrs. Crazy times for CT. State Employees, now I also found out I have to wait for my promotion because of layoff rumors and if I get promoted I become low-women on the totem pole. I of course think it's just a way for them to get out of paying me. lol I went back to the surgeon on Friday because I have a bump on the end of my scar that really REALLY hurts. I mean like shooting. So I went and he feels it is scar tissue. Not sure that I buy that, but for now we'll see. I did get to go shopping yesterday and went to TJ Maxx and bought a size 10 bathing suit. Of course it has to have underwire or the girls slip out. Can't have that in FL!! I also went and got my hair chopped off. I have NEVER had this short of a haircut and I love it. My DH isn't too sure, but I don't care, I love it and it's easy. Today we are taking a ride in the sports car to Mystic for lunch. He won a gift cert at some restaurant so we are taking the day. I got my new Patti Scalfa CD to blast so off we go!! I miss all of you! And I wanted to tell Deb McPhee, LOVE your new pic, you look beautiful! I can't get over how many VIRGO's we have on this site. Are we perfectionists or what? But lovable too. lol, and I also agree with whoever said. HECK WITH THE MAIN BOARD, WE HAVE THE BEST BOARD HERE!! XXOO Cheryl

My turn!!! Well this is a very busy weekend. Had two b'day parties! But the best part of it is that I keep looking at all of these people and thinking that at next yr's b'day, they won't recognize me I just can't wait! The waiting is just driving me I think I'll crash at the hospital when the time finally comes I am trying so desperately to get my house in shape before my surgery on 7/21; however, the pain from the rheumatoid arthritis in my heels is unbearable lately. I'm sure it's worse because of the humidity we've had recently. So I'm moving as slow as molasses, however, not much is getting done I told the folks at job #2 that I am not committing to working past next week. And after the surgery, I am going on casual status. I need a break! I have been working two jobs for five yrs. and it's time slow myself down! July 21st can't get her soon enough! Linda, I am so proud of you 95 lbs. you are my hero!!! Hi everyone! I must say things have been really busy. I don't get on the board as much any more - and I find that I have lots of catching up to do when I do get on. Sorry I haven't posted as much , but I am trying to read everything. Nicholas' surgery went well - but he ended up with a blood clot in his right ear. We're not sure at this point if the tube is still in - there is too much blood to see inside. Otherwise, he's doing well from the adnoids, and the other ear is doing well also. I've also been busy potty-training Alexander (he's almost 3) -- its really been quite the week! We have a graduation party to go to this afternoon right after church. The young man who just graduated is Nicholas' best friend - a really great young man. My son will miss him dearly when he goes off to college. (yes, Nicholas is 5 and the friend is 18) This evening we start our ministry to the migrant farm workers. My husband is a minister of missions and we work with Jamaican migrant workers. We will hold a worship service for them tonight at their camp, so we won't be home until late. It will be a very busy day today. I went to a ladies conference in Albany yesterday, and had a really nice time, but it was a long day. There will be a Women of the Word conference in October in Albany, and this was the preparation meeting. These are always fantastic times, and I'm looking forward to it. Also, I just bought a mom-mobile (a van). New to us, but quite old (1997). I take care of this business in the family, so I was the one negotiating with the used car salesman and running to the mechanic with the van to check it out with the 2 boys in tow. It was quite the week! I'm back to work tomorrow, after being out more than a week for Nicholas - I'm sure its going to be crazy there too! Still struggeling to get the weight off. Its been very difficult for me this last month or two. Hoping to hit the century mark really soon, but the scale's not moving, and I have an enormous appetite. Hope everyone is doing well. Good Morning Linda and Everybody, Hey Linda, I keep my finger crossed andhope your house got sold from open house from nice weather today You can find out when the gathering party date from Eddie.... Since I have not heard from him from my mailbox yet.... I havbe been so busy with my son, Kyle (who made all star from baseball) his baseball practice and games comming up this week.... The kids's friends birthday parties... working outside with our yard and helped clean up junk from my husband who piled up from our addition GRRRRRR ( He is ADHD and can not orgranized and forced better) We are processing to put dry wall in our addition very soon. I have three more tests to go and have to drink that yucky stuff ( will taste chalk) this wednesday morning. The kids are happy that they are on summer vacation now... not me... pay more money for summer day camp oh well that is life! Hey My angel, Cheryl, Glad you bought new bathsuit and is getting ready to go vacation in fla soon. hope to hear from you through email .... I can not wait to see you face to face and talk with you.... Kathy B... I hope your son s ear will be recovery... i hope it dont affect his hearing loss Is it ??? Hope not! It is no fun to being deaf because I know what it like but I can overcome my deafness but I nam more thrilled that my kids are hearing.... Virgo here. I just love roll call. It is just awesome outside. I am getting ready to go to the pool with my little one. UGH...have to put on my bathingsuit!!! Oh well this time next year it will be a tankini!!! I have to slather on the sunscreen. I always put in on my son but I don't usually use it on me. I found out the hard way that one of my diabetic meds makes me super sensitive to the sun!!! So now it is SPF 30 for both of us. 29 more days!!! I am excited, scared, happy and nervous all at one time.I am stressing out about getting my house in order. I made my DH swear to me it will be clean before I go into the hospital. Anyway.... I go back to work tomorrow. It was nice to take a whole week off for vacation. Well...my DH is at work and my son & I are off to the pool. I hope everyone has a great Sunday. Take Care, Chryssie

Hello fellow Virgo! I too had to drag out the dreaded bathing suit today! UGH! I put a big shirt over it, and I keep thinking that next yr. I won't have to do this! THANK GOD! Hi Everyone, It's good to hear how everyone is doing. I am enjoying this beautiful weather and planning on sitting in the sun today for a while, and then I will be off to my favorite store Wal-Mart to pick up a few things. I am doing fine, down 74 pounds and going to the gym at least two to three times a week and I am starting to see results. Even though I am not losing as fast as others, I am still losing inches and am in an 18/20 now depending on the clothes. I am looking forward to the long Fourth of July weekend and the fireworks and picnics with friends and family. It will be nice to be able to walk around and not have difficulty for the first time in years. I am looking forward to going to Six Flags this summer and fitting on the rides. I can't wait for the Big "E" either, they are both not far from where I live and I remember last year having such a hard time not being able to walk around at the Big "E" that I was in tears. I am having a Birthday Party / Picnic the end of July and inviting friends and family and will be surprised to see peoples reactions on how much I have changed since I haven't seen some of them for a while. I hope everyone has a wonderful, enjoyable, eventful summer. Darlene 309/235/???
