Empire BC/BS

Does anyone know anything about the approval process and how likely they are to approve, etc??

I have Empire BC/BS and had no problems getting approved.  My BMI was over 40 and I had a few co-morbidities (sleep apnea, high BP).  At the time, they required 6 months of PCP monitored diet.  Other than that, I had all of the tests done that my surgeon required and that was good enough for them.  Once my paperwork was submitted, I was approved in 4 business days.  It went much smoother than I had expected.  I would call them, if I were you, to get specifics, in case any of their requirements have changed.
