Pulmonologist Question - Need Advice

Hi CT Buddies! I have my pulmonologist appointment tomorrow (there was a cancellation, woo hoo! ) I have never been to a pulmonologist and was wondering what to expect. I will be going to UCONN. Any one go to that one? My consult is tomorrow and testing with be on 7/21. Thanks!! Phyllis

Hi Phyliss, At my pulmonologist's appointment, I did a whole series of breathing tests, and then the doctor came in and listened to my lungs. They asked alot of questions, also. He is also the one who determines if a sleep study for sleep apnea is needed. Don't worry, this is a pretty easy appointment. Good luck, Anne

Hi I had my test done as UCONN also. They are very very nice there, like mentioned above they just have you do some breathing tests and I think they took some blood too. It was short and sweet.
