GET TOGETHER RECIPE - EASY CRAB DIP
Original Recipe:
1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1 can (6 oz) crabmeat, drained
1 tsp horseradish
2 tbl fresh chives (or dried if fresh not available)
1/4 tsp dry mustard
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1. Beat the cheese and sour cream together at a high speed until very smooth.
2. Set the beater to a low speed and mix in the crab, horseradish, chives, mustard, salt and pepper.
3. Chill. Serve with raw vegetables.
Yield: 12 servings. Each containing 1 gm of carbs, a trace of fiber and
5 gms of protein.
Carla's variation:
Substitute light cream cheese and fat free sour cream... save on fat gms!
