They have a chewable multi-vitamin.  Tell them you have had WLS and they will tell you the stuff other people who have had WLS buy.  They have been very helpful to me.

Hi Marlena!  My Dr. told me to take centrum chewables....I got so sick of the orange taste and texture...now I take the gummy vites..they are all natural and are sold everywhere....I just adjust the amount that I take to make sure the quantity of vitamins that I take are comperable to the centrum....(I also use the gummy vitamin as a 'dessert'...just one will do ya and it is included in what I was supposed to take in the first place)....am I confusing you yet??  ALSO......for the longest time viactiv was the only 'chewy' calcium that was available ..it is calcium carbonate which is what we are NOT supposed to take...we as RNYers are supposed to take calcium CITRATE...well, I got sick of taking a honking big nasty ole pill and did some searching......I found a chewy calcium citrate...I believe it is citrucal...also has vitamin D in it....it comes in caramel, lemon and chocolate (which tastes like chocolate rum balls)...good luck dear...by the way...I am not sure if they have these at GNC...but you can grab them at Stop and Shop, Walmart, etc....love and peace...laura

I tend to not be a big fan of GNC-- they tend to push the latest craze in supplements and vitamins and the advice I've been given there hasn't been terribly deep.  I too had used the Centrum Chewable, then switched to Flinstones, then used the spray vitamin (VitaMist) for some time.  Because the tastes of the vitamins tends to get to me after a while, I tend to switch brands every few months.  I have had good luck with the Solar-Ray products (particularly the chewable Calcium Citrate) which was available to some GNC's.  I would also avoid the GNC sublingual B-12.  It is a vastly inferior product to the Trader Joe's sublingual B-12-- the GNC product does not dissolve very easily (particularly when compared to the Trader Joes).

This is awesome advice......  I am getting sick of some of the chewables that i have at home and was hoping to find substitutes for them that I can rotate between so I don't get tired out and keep up with my supplements.  I like the B-12 and iron ones I have, they are Bariatric Advantage... but I really gotta find something better for the multi vitamin and the calcium one!  I'll have to check out Traders Joe up in West Hartford!

Ooops...Marlena..I forgot to add that you have to make sure you check the sugar content in your vitamins...I can't go over 4 grams per serving!!  Every person is different though...~laura
