Question re Plastic Surgery/Tummy Tuck Applications

I went to my dr. in NY yesterday to look at my hernia. He wants to take it out, but also to have my tummy tuck or lower body lift (they call it "extended abdominoplasty" or however you spell it. He sent me over to a plastic surgeon he works with (Sarah Jessica Parker's brother-in-law -- had a blast talking about Sex & the City, etc.). He wanted to send me to a medical photographer in NYC for the pictures, but I'd prefer to go somewhere in CT rather than hike down there again. Are any of you aware of a medical photographer in the area -- preferably no further than New Haven-ish? Thanks for your help!! Kathy F.

Kathy- We just used our digital camera here at home. My DH was able to really get good pictures and they look probably just as good. Just make sure you get any pics of rashes and side and front and back views. If you have panni, lift it so they can see how much is there. Don't spend that kind of money on a stranger taking pics of you. God, is there no dignity left for us?? I am returning to work tomorrow. Go here on this site too, there is a whole PS site. It was helpful to me. The body lift thing is pretty radical but becoming alot more popular because so many people need it. The only other thing I MAY consider someday is my girls. That's day surgery. Kath- One more thing I forgot to tell you, actually it happened a little while ago. I sneezed without my binder on (in the wash) and felt like I split myself in 2! It hurt so bad I sat down and took a pain pill and now I am just waiting for it to kick in. The pain made me see stars, so I can't imagine how painful a full body lift is. What kind of recovery time are you looking at? Of course once you get one thing done, you end up looking at your thighs and girls and arms so to get it all done at the same time is probably the way to go.
