Question that the hubby keeps asking.
Hey Kathy....hubby is right here with me and said "I didn't have to ask for that YOU (I) asked!"...guess I'm the pig!! Anyway...it depends on who is doing more work.....with me it wasn't long at all...but I had laparascopic and Dr. A prefers open....it shouldn't be long at all....ask the Dr...he's used to it.....Also....you can tell hubby that while he's waiting..you still have to increase your "protein"....wink wink.....I'll be praying for you..I know your date is coming up quickly....and I am positive that you will SUCCEED!!! You have gone through so much to get to this point that failure is no longer an option!!!
WE ARE PUT ON THIS EARTH NOT TO SEE THROUGH EACH OTHER...BUT TO SEE EACH OTHER THROUGH
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one
hand, mudslide in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and
screaming ! HOT DAMN.....WHAT A RIDE!!
BECOME THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE
LOL! Dr. A told me that as long as it wasnt in the hospital room then it was fine! ...and I had open RNY. Basically as long as it doesnt hurt or pull at the stitches then youre good to go. Best of luck with everything!
PS....I know what you mean about the protein....there are MUCH better tasting sources for that!!!
