UPDATE ON CHERYL S

I finally called the hospital and I ended up talking to Cheryl (she was going to really chew out her DH for falling down on the job)... The surgery went fine. It was a long surgery (4 hours) and it didn't get started on time. They said that the hernia was actually quite small (and weren't sure why it caused her SO much pain...) She was in quite a bit of pain (she says, "how often can I push this button?") But, she had eaten something and she's doing fine. Thanks for everyones prayers and concerns. Sharon

Thanks Sharon, Cheryl has been on my mind all day and periodically I came on line at work to check to see if you had posted anything. We had a support group meeting tonight and I couldn't wait to get home and check the boards. I am soooo glad this is over and done with. I am sure she will be sore for awhile but its over and she did good!!!!! Thanks for being such a great Linda

I was thinking of her and praying for her all day yesterday and today, but I've been at a seminar and haven't had a chance to get on line until now. I'm so glad to see that she did well. Please give her my love. Kathy Bilodeau
