To all of you who "listened" to me vent the other day: I sat down and talked to the DH and let him know how important this insurance and surgery means to not only me but my health and he agreed and promised to stick to the job because he knows it pays well...and he was just trying to "vent" and i have to learn to Listen to him vent so he can at least get it out..he was just having a bad week.....and i guess i was kind of *****y...so..we worked things out and he is going to try to be more supportive of the surgery and i am going to try to be more supportive of him... to show him how much i wuv him..i went fishing with him today.(yes in the rain)...i must be a glutton for punishment...but....after whining that the rainpants that USED to fit me doesnt anymore..(it wouldnt even go over my belly..man was i balling my eyes out...thank god for long rain coats)...he and i had so much fun...and i caught the biggest Bass i have ever caught..it was 5 pounds. so..thanks for all you guys for listening to me and being there..without you guys..i would be lost Deanna

Hi Deanna, You're quite welcome!!! Sometimes a good talk is just what the doctor ordered, Communication is so very important. I'm so glad that things are better and always remember we're all here in good times and bad. Have a great week, Mary Lou

Deanna As you can see I've used this message board many times to vent or to just pour my fears out. Sometimes I get a well deserved kick in the butt but mostly love and support. You never have to feel lost. You always have your OH family behind you! Cheryl

Hi Deanna, Isn't the CT Board amazing? Where else can you go and chat with others who understand 100% of what you're going through? Shaing the good and bad, and receiving support is what it's all about. It's great that you and DH have found some common ground. He sounds like a good man. And we already know your a fabulous woman! My best to you, -Deb

I'm so glad you two were able to reach an understanding about the job/surgery balance. That's a sign of great communication!! I have never fished in my life, but my boyfriend is an avid fisherman (doesn't eat fish, gets seasick, but loves to fish ... go figure), so I have my first ever fishing license this year! Haven't used it yet (said rain), but I'm looking forward to it! Good luck!! Kathy F.
