Doctor questions

I live in Fairfield County and am looking for a general physician who would be willing to recommend WLS for me and would be willing to fight the insurance company if need be. My insurance company is changing and my current general doctor won't accept my new insurance. Anyone know of a doctor who might be helpful?

I am just wondering why you need a PCP for this?  Does your surgeon require a referral from your PCP?  My PCP never got involved - my surgeon did everything.  I think your surgeon would be the one to fight the ins. co, not a PCP.  I did mention to my PCP what I was doing and he seemed supportive.

Dr. Naeem Sarfraz is a PCP with a speciality in gastroenterology.  He is accepting of weight loss surgery and has been wonderful to have as a PCP through the process.  His office is in Fairfiled.

my pcp is Dr.Lastomirsky  and he supports wls, and has written a letter for insurance reasons. he is on main st  in fairfield next to the post office. good luck happy holidays,Teresa
