Looking for a psychologist in central CT
Hi Hydi!
I live in East Hartford and went to see Dr. Cynthia Wirth in Glastonbury. She is very good and is easy to talk to. She deals a lot with people with eating disorders and is very familiar with WLS. You didn't say where you lived but maybe this would be close enough for you. Hope this helps.

I don't know anyone in that area, but I can ask my doctor (I have an appt. on Tuesday) for a recommendation. He's pretty in-the-know.
Hang in there. I too battle depression and feel myself struggling right now. The best thing you can do is get help, and I'll see if I can find someone. I'm sure there are some lovely people on this website who may have recommendations for you as well.
Good luck!

Thanks! I used to take Lexapro but stopped when I had the surgery. At first it was because it was hard for me to take and then I was on such a high that I didn't think I needed it. But, it's time. All those classic signs are back and among other things it's hampering my desire to get out of the house (AND IT'S A BEAUTIFUL DAY TO GET OUT!) and exersize. I need the help of a psychologist though. The Lexapro was perscribed by my GP and I think I could use a real analysis and definetally some help with the weight issues. I've really felt like a nut job lately.
