New to the boards

Hello everyone, I have been signing in and reading the boards every few days now, so I thought I'd come out of hiding . I learned about this site from the most recent support group meeting at St. Raph's. You all seem so very supportive of each other, it's very nice. I am planning to have surgery in July, just as soon as all the pre-surgery "stuff" is done. I'm hoping to find some "buddies" to help me through this! I don't actually know anyone who has ever had the surgery and been successful, as ALL of you seem to be . It's very encouraging .

Welcome Anne!! It is always nice to see new people on the boards. You will find this a great group and a fun place to hang out. I hope you will consider coming to the CT Get Together on June 12th. It would be the perfect time to meet some post ops and hear first hand what happens and to meet other pre-ops who are going through what you are right now. If you are interested please email me. Hello Anne Welcome to Ct Message Boards ! I am glad you came out from the closet and will find this CT Message Boards very support, friendly and good team to talk and support each other. It will be worthy if you come to join our 2 nd CT Get Together party on June 12 because there will be alot of pre-op and post-op people there who can be your Buddies Hope to meet you there Kathy k.

welcome anne.. i have just recently found the boards too and i am from Branford..(just a hop skip and jump) these people on here are unbelieveable with their testimonies and they are the inspiration for me to go ahead with my surgery...good luck with your surgery in july..we are all rooting for you deanna
