I'm OUTTA HERE gang...

Hi all. Just wanted to let you all know I'm going to be 'absent' for a while...I'm off for vacation to Germany w/my family on Friday morning. So, because of all I have to do- today will probably be my last day on the board (unless I can sneek in****il the 3rd week in June. I AM having lunch with our own Kathy B on Thursday, before I leave, and I'm looking forward to that! Now, mind you, It's not that I don't love you ALL, but, on vacations, I totally disconnect from regular life. I don't really think that my German relatives (who live in a town with more cows than people) even have a computer anyway. I will miss you..I expect all the love and support to continue in my absence and I hope that I see you all on June 12th, for the get together. Getting excited and nervous to leave on this LONG trip...starting to wonder what the heck I'm going to eat too (Germans are major carb people AND they eat 'funny' meats)...but, I'll work it all out. Hi Lisa, Well I hope you have a absolutely wonderful vacation and it is okay for you to be away from us for a short period of time!! I did panic a bit when you said you would be away for 3 weeks. I hope you will be back in time for the big shindig!! Do you need any help with the name tags since you will be away? Just let me know. I too am going away tomorrow but just for 5 days. I will be back on Monday evening and unlike you I am going to a civilized country... I am going to visit cousins in Rochester New York. I will probably be on the boards some at least in the beginning of my stay as they will be at work during the day and the weather doesn't look to great for me to be in their pool. Dam I was all set to do my water aerobics there!!! Well not to fret I am bringing a Walk Away the Pounds tape with me. Am I crazy or what?? Have a terrific trip and especially enjoy the plane ride and fitting so nicely into those seats!! Linda

Don't worry! I'll be at the gathering and I'll be fine with the badges. I'll be back to work on the 9th, so I was kind of off if I said 3 weeks! Whoopsies! I'll just need someone to submit to me the names on the week of the gathering, no later than Friday, if possible. While I'm on the subject...here's what I'd like to do.. One namebadge with name printed then under name, date of surgery & surgeon name OR Pre-op and surgeon name (if you have one) I'll bring 2nd set of sleeves for people to slip a picture into, if they want to. Is that doable? What do you think?

Hi Lisa, Well.....hmmmm......Sounds like a great idea but I don't know if I will have a list of names or not. I will try to put it together as we get closer. A few folks are bringing friends and I don't necessarily know their names and info. I will put out an all points message though so by the time you get back we should be set. The RSVP's are beginning to come in now......was getting worried there for a bit!! . Have a great time and we will want to hear all about it on the 12th!!!!! Linda
