Hey Everybody, Just heard that insurance companies are starting to turn people down/ How SAD! The dollar is obviously more important than a human life in the eyes of their interested in the bottom line. I am starting to get nervous for my surgery this fall (do not have a date yet) and hope my insurance company do not give me hard time or turn me down Kathy

Kathy -- I've heard reports on TV about the State of Florida banning insurance coverage unless it's super important. It's become a more expensive prospect to insurers and companies, but I would imagine that in the unlikely event that you're turned down, you would just have to fight a little harder. It takes a lot of work to create legislation that would prevent insurance companies from covering the surgery. Just keep going and expect that all will go fine & you'll be on the other side in no time. Good luck!!! Kathy F.

Oh no! My stuff is being submitted tomorrow. I work for my insurance company, but that doesn't mean I get special priviledges. But I do know we are downsizing quite a bit. We are to lay off 200 people this week. I hope this won't be a factor in the authorization decisions. I'm with Kathy ---> Tara
