Hey Cheryl where are you???? I am worried about you. I hope you are just busy doing fun things and not stressing out about the hernia/TT surgery. We love you and miss you on these boards. I have got to believe that you watched the Phoenix/ Sun game today. Wasn't our girl awesome!!! It was good to see her and Nykesha and Aisha and of course the ham himself!! Geno!! I have to admit to cheering for Phoenix or more correctly for Diana. Its a difficult habit to break!!! She will always be a CT kinda gal. Linda

Wow, is this board filled with angels or what??? I have been stressing a bit Linda. I've been in a lot of pain from the hernia and also working overtime to get my boss as set as possible while I am away. She is up for a full professorship so I put together the package which is tedious and time consuming. I am working hard to get my mind straight on this upcoming surgery. I've prayed about it, and written out my fears and most of them are of course irrational. So I crossed them out permanently. Now I am just concentrating on getting rid of this potentially harmful hernia and losing these excess rolls. But I will admit, it has made me go inside myself and I know that's not like me so I will just cut that out!! I did watch and she is just amazing no matter what uniform she wears. I have always loved watching Nykesha Sales and plus her being a local Bloomfield girl adds to it. It's such fun knowing there's another "BB Addict" out there like me! I am so sorry I will miss this upcoming get together, Linda, we will have to have another that's all! My surgery date was moved up to June 8th so this week I have all my appts and then the waiting again. So I'll be off from June 7th for 2 weeks so you guys will all get sick of seeing me on the boards!! love you for thinking of me, Cheryl

Hi Cheryl, I'm so sorry you've been stressing. I've been stressing already and I have no idea when my surgery will be!!! The hernia surgery itself isn't really bad, I've had three already, but I can't say how the tt is. I've heard many different opinions. Try and stay focused on how wonderful you will feel after its all over with and you are healed. Remember we are all here to support you, cheer for you and especially pray for you. As far as yesterday's game, I didn't know which side to root for!!! I'm also a bb addict. Boy did I get really annoyed when I was in the hospital and they didn't have CPTV. But I did get to see all the final games. All the nurses kept running into my room to see what the score was cause they knew I'd be watching. I know in my heart that you will do well, just keep the faith, Mary Lou

I'm glad we've heard from you. To be stressed out about having surgery is a pretty normal reaction -- believe me, I'm not looking forward to having my hernia/tt surgery. I'm looking forward to having a smaller belly when all is said & done, but already having had 2 surgeries with respect to my wls and the repair surgery, the prospect of having yet another surgery is scary. I was also informed by my orthopedist that, because I have advanced arthritis in my right knee (I already had arthroscopic surgery on said right knee) and bone spurs, he's not ruling out my needing to have knee replacement surgery (!!). The result of carrying extra weight for almost 30 years but not letting it stop me from going out dancing, skiing, etc. This too shall pass is all I can tell myself. You'll be my eyes and ears (and stomach) with respect to the hernia/tt surgery. You're a very strong woman & you'll be great. Hang in there!!! You're having something done that needs doing. You don't want to live with the pain of the hernia. And just think, you'll probably go down another size once you're done with the surgery & healing. Take care, Kathy F.

Thanks for posting this Linda. I've been wondering where Cheryl has been hiding as well. I knew she was working hard, but to not see her responding to any posts was getting to be a concern of mine as well. Cheryl - you will do fine -- all of us will be praying for you, so there is nothing to worry about! And just think of how awesome you are gonna look after the "rolls" are gone! Whoo Hoo! Maybe the 3 of us can get together for a coffee or something soon - it would be nice to see you. God Bless, Kathy Bilodeau
