Last night I woke up horrified! I dreamt that I just had surgery, everything went well.. so much so I came home and had no pain.. I sorta forgot I even had surgery. Next thing I know, I'm chowing down on a big burrito and some tacos from Taco Bell!! So after I eat this massive amount of food, it dawns on me that I just had major surgery, and only supposed to be on liquids and I'm waiting for my staples to burst open any second. I was really freaking out. Anyhow.. after I woke up it took me a few seconds to realize I hadn't had the surgery yet and there was no Taco Bell in sight. Thank goodness!! Guess you can tell the surgery's on my brain. Besides, had I eaten Taco Bell, I know I would have chucked it right back up and WHO forgets they had their stomach stapled!!?? Tomorrow is my final meeting with Dr. Valin before surgery. We'll see how that goes. Hopefully things are the same and Friday will come and go before I know it. Well, goodnight all. Michelle

Michelle, That was one hell of a nightmare!!! . It was definitely too soon for feel that good but I must say that I had little to no pain and there are times I wonder if I really did have the surgery!! I have not gotten sick on anything I have eaten/ I am not sure if that is a good or a bad thing Keep us updated. I know you will do just fine Linda

Yeesh, what a nightmare. Don't worry about that becoming a reality. Hope all goes well with Dr. Valin today. Best wishes tomorrow. I will be at the hospital late tomorrow afternoon. If you want, I would be happy to check in on ya. If not, trust me I completely understand. Maggie

I guess the surgery's on your mind!! Our brain does play some funny tricks on us. I'm surprised that I haven't had food dreams, but I hear a lot of people do. Ugh!! It must have been really freaky to wake up from that. Best of luck tomorrow -- you'll be back here telling us all about it in no time at all. I'll be saying my prayers & thinking good thoughts for you. Kathy F.
