I have been using the treadmill in my basement and walking the track at the High School ever since my surgery....but today...I did it...

I walked into the gym, had an hour long training session, which began with 10 minutes on an eliptical thing...WHY does anyone love that machine???  Then I spent 40 minutes on various weight machines...for my arm, legs and tummy...and finished off with 10 minutes on the bike.... IT WAS AMAZING....the fact that I could get on some of those contraptions... I am truly blessed!

It is not the breathes you take, but what takes your breathe away that matters most!

BRAVO!   You will be amazed as to how you will get to know your body's strengths as you journey down this path of self renewal and discovery. Keep going... it's worth the effort. Every time I enter the gym to do a class or have a session with a trainer, I tell myself... This is good. You belong here. Keep going. Scary at times, but on the other end of it... (as in after class or session) empowering beyond my wildest imagination. T.
