Hello all, I'm home. Thanks for all of your support during my surgery time. It meant a lot. I wasn't up for doing much talking, but Hubby read me all of my posts and they really kept me going. Now if I could only find a comfortable position to rest in...Any ideas or suggestions...???? Maggie

Welcome home!!!!!! Glad things went well & you're back at home. My big recommendation is to get in a recliner & stay there for a couple of days! If you don't have a recliner, you can always sit in a comfy chair & pick up a back pillow that's at an angle, so you have some reclining motion. It's really the most comfortable position possible when you're just recovering. I know for me I was unable to sleep any way other than on my back for a little while, but that will change. Have a restful week/weekend. You'll feel better in no time! XO Kathy F.

Hi Maggie, So glad your home and did so well. If you have any questions whatsoever please ask. The first few weeks can get pretty overwhelming with getting in your doctors requirements. It will get better. Hope your recovery goes well. Your on your way, best wishes, Mary Lou

Welcome Home Maggie! And Congrats on making it to the losing side! Each day will get better! The recliner or reclining posistion was the comfiest for me and I usually had a soft light pillow on my belly just in case I had to sneeze or cough! OUCH! It was hard for me to lay flat for a while on my back and I am also a tummy sleeper and it took about 6 to 8 weeks before I could do that again! You will be feeling great in no time! Again best wishes with your Journey! MaryJo

Hi Maggie, Welcome home! Glad to see you are doing well. Good luck with sleeping! I have heard also that a recliner is best. I am lucky, my husband and I bought a couch and love seat last year, and they recline in 4 places! So I have my choice of which place I feel like sleeping in. Here's to feeling stronger, healthier and happier soon! Anne 5/24/04

Hi Maggie!! Welcome Back, Welcome Back . Glad you are home and things will get better as each day passes. I found that sitting in a recliner was most comfortable for me. Helped to move the gas along some. Make sure you move around as much as you can to help move that gas and to keep away those clots!! You can always do a little now that you are on the losing side!!! Linda
