Hi, I am six months today and still stuck at just 65 pounds lost. I only lost 5 pounds and maybe 2 inches this past month. I am so discouraged and I don't know what I am doing wrong. I have been stuck for the past three weeks again and nothing. I have tried all kinds of things, shaking things up and changing things around, exercising more etc. If anyone has any ideas I am open for suggestions. Darlene 309/244/???

Darlene -- I was 6 months out last week, and I'm down 70 lbs. -- it's been wavering a lb. or two for the last week -- it's that time of the month Some people just lose more slowly. I know I've been frustrated that I haven't lost more, but my dr. says it's fine. I've been exercising 4-6 days a week for a little over a month now & it's made a difference, not just in lbs. lost but in my body's re-shaping itself. I do 1/2 hr. cardio at a minimum & about 1/2 hr. or so of weight training every other day, and my close have gotten quite a bit bigger, even though the scale hasn't gone down demonstrably. We'll make it ... we have to!!!! I'd be interested in hearing what others have to say too! Good luck! Kathy F. 252/180/want to be 130!!

hey darlene well losing "only" 5 lbs is better than nothing or even gaining right? at least you are headed in the right direction. in my opinion because i know you so well i think you need to stop obsessing so much about the whole thing and dont go into a panic all the time if you dont lose. just relax and i am sure the weight will come off in its own time especially if you are eating the right things. you also told me that you feel alot better now. so that is a major plus too right? YES it is.... Cheryl K

Hi Darlene, I know it is very frustrating and we all need alot of patience. Our bodies are telling us something, we just have to figure out what! Do you track your food with fitday? I find that helpful to keep my calories under control. It doesn't mean I am not hungry but at least I have a sense of when I am eating too many calories. I find that I really need to keep up my fluid intake to help the pounds go away but still struggling with constipation etc. Dont' get discouraged, it will happen for you, just follow the rules. Linda

It's hard to believe its been six months already! Congratulations, and try not to worry about how much (or how little) you are losing - you are doing great, and looking great too! Try to concentrate on the positive things! TTYL God Bless, Kathy
