I attended a pre surgical meeting at Norwalk Hospital with Drs. Neil and Craig Floch. They seem to be very confidant in what they are doing, they presented the information well and the patients that spoke seem to love them. I called this morning to get an appointment and I have one for 5/17 at 10am. I feel like things are back on track and that there is hope for me.

Hi Gina - Trust me, it's the best decision you will make. I had my gastric on 12/17/03 and I've lost 84 lbs already. It does get hard though when you have to deal with the everyday stressors and not eat through you problems. But if you get into a good post gastric support group, they will help you learn how to cope with those times and to not use food as a crutch. GOOD LUCK and please keep us posted. Denise
