MEDICAID AND MEDICARE SURGEONS LIST!

I had my surgery at St Rafael's Hospital in New Haven, with Dr. Nadzam. I have Medicare & Medicaid as my supplemental and they covered everything except the first consult with the nutritionist and the psychologist. That cost around $300. A very small price to pay comparatively.

I have the  Husky A, wich I think is Medicare? anye=ways, its from the state and I have been seeing Dr. Giles in the New Britain Hospitol. I did have to get a letter from my PCP stating tat this surgery was medically neccesary, but he does accept it, I think its called the Hospitol of Central Ct.

In order for it to be covered by Medicare?Medicaid in CT the surgery needs to be performed at a Center for Excellence. Hartford Hospital's program falls into this category.

Dr. Papasavas and Dr Tishler from the Connecticut Surgical Group take Husky Insurance. You will need a referral from your PCP and to jump through a bunch of hoops but they know what to do and will help you. Their staff is amazingly helpful and pleasant. They have multiple offices in Avon
