Off Topic...Come on Down!

Hi everyone, I'll be volunteering at Petsmart in Manchester this Sunday, May 2nd from 12-2 for Second Chance Boxer Rescue. If you're going to be in the neighborhood stop by, introduce yourself, I'd love to see some old friends and make some new ones. Deb, This sounds so cool, can you tell me more about it? What type of rescue dogs are they? Are they like police German Shepards? I am such a dog lover. I have a 11 year old black lab that I am bringing to the vet tomrrow for her rabies and check up, she won't jump into my SUV anymore and she's 80 pounds. This should be interesting!! Tell me more! Hi Cheryl, The rescue is Second Chance Boxer Rescue, serving all New England, NY & NJ. Every now and then we hold BRAD's (Boxer Rescue Awareness Days) where we bring our pooches, set up a table and educated people about rescues, adoptions and have a great time. We adopted our Boxer/Great Dane MoJo from them 2 years ago and he's such a good boy...big boy, weighing in at 110 pounds. He wont be with me tomorrow because he's been getting sick the last few days so we're trying to keep him quiet (ya right!) and mellow to see if it's a bug or something. Poor baby. Anyhoo - I'd love to see you...bring your Lab! All pets are welcome! I'll be there from 12-2pm, and rumor has it it'll be raining off and on so it'll be a great shopping day! Stop in and say hello! OK, I'm signing off now...I called in sick today, I needed a mental health day so I waited for good weather. Sunshine here I come!
