Chicken Legs
Well, tonight was a rude awakening!! I went to Marshalls in desparate need of a pair of shorts. I put them on and just saw droopy skin and chicken legs. YUCK! I thought this would be much better!! I don't like it one bit.
I can't even imagine a bathing suit. My legs really lost a lot of weight but also a lot of muscle tone.
Anyone relate????

Cheryl,
Well at least you are Chicken "Little" now!! . I totally understand what you are talking about though. Gravity sure does a number on our legs. I have noticed that the tops of my thighs look like a Sharpei. It hasn't quiet traveled down to my knees yet but I see the potential. This has not stopped me from wearing a bathing suit for Water Aerobics though. I know I am gaining alot of muscle tone but that hasn't stopped the sagging skin. For New Orleans instead of shorts I went the Capri route. Worked out well except for my "super" white legs........hmmm tanning might be in my future.
I will look for you at the parade today. I will be wearing my Boa so maybe you will spot me!! Yeah like all the other Boa wearer's from New Orleans won't be there........ Well we will all be there cheering and for our young folks who have made us sooooo proud.

Welcome to the world of capri's, peddle pants, clamdigger's...lolol It's better than bigger legs, at least we can hide them in capri's. I'm going to Arizona to a resort...I think I'm going to have to wear long shorts with my bathing suit! Plus they're so darn white! I used to live in CA and would be tanned by May 1. Not here in CT.
Can I ever relate!! I had a blog on my web page about going shopping last week & discovering the most HORRIBLE legs I'd ever seen!! It's as though the air's been let out but all the skin remains. I've compared them to a sharpei or to an old water bed that explodes into awful waves when you move just a little bit. Awful!!!!!!! I always had big legs -- a family trait every woman on my mother's side of the family bemoans on a regular basis -- but this is just awful! The first thing I thought was after losing all this weight I'm still going to look awful in a bathing suit!!
I know the "leg lifts" are supposed to be painful & prone to infection, but if this stuff doesn't firm up demonstrably, I'm going to be looking into it a year or so from now!
So long!!

You know, I just thought of something! We should make a calendar "CT Losers" of all CT men and women who have lost a lot of weight in bathingsuits! We should be proud of our extra skin...it means our surgery was successful! Wear it with pride, like a banner or medal. We could sell it and then all proceeds would be split and we could use it for new clothing (never have enough) or whatever we want. I'd be game!
What do you think? (No, don't say I'm crazy!!)
