Hi,  O.K. I am having trouble with the need to chew crunchy things. I have maintained my weight for a year now with in 3 pounds which I am happy with. BUT... I am constantly wanty something crunchy to chew on. I can't get enough of crunchy!! Crackers, peanuts, cereal, carrots, granola bars, anything I can crunch. It is like I am obcessed with it. I don't even  have to be hungry. Does any one have this problem?? Does any one have any suggestions??? I would appreciate any help. Thanks and Happy Turkey Day!! Sarah

Another member had mentioned that her husband bought her a snow cone machine and she just loved to crunch on the ice.  You can make a syrup with Crystal Light and flavor it with that it you want.  Sorry, no other suggestions, but good luck and let us know what you find that helps! Kathy

Thanks Kathy,  I need something I can do at work. I don't know what it is. I actually look around for something to crunch on. Maybe I am lacking something or some vitamin that will help. Have a great Turkey Day! Sarah

Hi Sarah, I can understand the urge to crunch. I too miss that, what I have been doing (which is not very exciting)is making a salad with crunchy low carb vegetables and I add some protien like LF cheese or turkey breast and use kraft spritzer as a  dressing. I have this just about every evening, it takes some time to eat and keeps my mouth moving. I do not have crackers, peanuts or cereal because I have trouble with portion control with those types of foods. Also all those types of carbs just make you want more. Another thing that might help is cutting up an apple and eating it slowly, crunch, crunch. Congratulations on maintaining your weight loss, have a great holiday. Sher

Hi Sher, I don't do salads very well.Carrots are o.k. I need something I can do at work. Maybe I am lacking in some sort of vitamin. I have an appointment with Dr. Barba next week. I will talk to him about it. Maybe he can come up with something. I just thought some one might have had the same problem and how to solve it. Have a great Turkey Day!  Thanks, Sarah
