Just beginning

Hello, everyone! I've been reading your entries for the last couple of weeks. You are all so supportive and positive! I have just begun the process and will see Dr. Aranow for the first time on Tuesday. I am really looking forward to talking to him. I went to his information night in January and called early the next morning for an appt. and April 13th was the first available date. I quickly learned that he wasn't joking when he said it was a lengthy process! I know 9 people who have had the surgery (5 with Dr. Aranow) and all have not regretted it for one moment. I didn't go to any other doctor because I knew so many people who went through him and were very satisfied. I'm sure I'll have questions as time goes on but I just wanted to introduce myself!

Hi Claudia! Welcome to the group! I think you will find that there is a great group of people here. Ask anything and at least one person will always respond with exactly the answer you need.
